September 23rd, 2010 was a major day for patients throughout the country as critically important insurance market protections included in the "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act" (ACA) went into effect. On September 27th, U.S. Representatives Dina Titus and Shelley Berkley met with supporters of the health care reform law and U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius to discuss the benefits and how patients are directly and immediately impacted.
